Whether you're headed to Paris or the Pyrenees, Montpellier or Montmarte, get started on booking a great place to stay right here. Our community has found often renting an apartment makes a lot of sense.

Renting "self catering" facilities such as apartments or houses can really be practical and money saving options. “Gites” is how the French term holiday lets with character. Then there are Bed and Breakfasts or “Chambres d’Hotes” and “Auberges” which are also a great option, too, if you want to discuss and meet with locals right on the property where you are staying. This is especially practical if you want insider information and tips on what to see and do from those who know it well.

If you are traveling with kids, the French bring the idea of "camping" to a whole new level! What to an American would mean pitching a tent, the southern Europeans' camp sites are truly mini resorts. These camping villages have apartments and mobile homes or cottages and are loaded with luxury: fancy pools, restaurants, playgrounds and activities for all ages.

Our staff highly recommend everyone see the South of France at least once (trust us, you’ll never stop there!) In particular, check out France's Languedoc-Roussillon region at the Mediterranean. For example the Pyrenees-Orientales (P-O) department alone has so much to offer travelers wanting sun, sea and culture.

The P-O offers an unbeatable combination of magical landscapes, leisure (sea, golf and mountain) and well rounded villages and lively cities to for year round living. This department boasts rivers, valleys, lively cities, mountain peeks, and picturesque foothills cascading into the sea. Where else can you find mountain skiing an hour and a half from France's most pristine beaches? And so close to a whole different culture in Spain, such as Barcelona. Would you believe you can still find wide undiscovered charming villages and half the tourists here? You bet! And property prices at a fraction of the cost of Provence and the Riviera, you say? Yes, welcome to the P-O and its Vermillion Coast or Cote Vermeille. Find a truly authentic and rich experience in the P-O, such as Collioure, Laroque-des-Alberes, Banyuls-sur-Mer, Argeles-sur-Mer, Saint-Cyprien, Perpignan, and of course Ceret.
