Les Chênes (The Oaks) is set in the beautiful Monts d'Ambazac, the western foothills of the Massif Central. The area is one of hills, lakes, rivers and forest; one of the least populated areas of France where one can step back in time and experience the unhurried and carefree lifestyle of traditional France.

At Les Chênes you can relax and discover the true nature of peace and tranquillity. Unwind, walk in the forest, sit in the sun or choose a book from our eclectic collection. Either sit in a comfy chair by the open log fire, or on the verandah. At twilight watch the bats take flight and at night, see the all the stars brightly in the unpolluted air. Listen to the sound of owls hooting and deer barking in the rutting season.
