Le Gavachon started it’s life as a barn- a “borde”- where grapes were stocked, surrounded by 100 hectares of vineyards and was mentioned in the departmental archives in 1666. After many modifications throughout the following years it has now become an imposing country house which has been entirely renovated and modernised whilst maintaining it’s Gascony style architecture.
The outbuildings have been converted to a gite and a suite of rooms for a family, the 'Cottage'. The dependencies still house the wine press and grape stocking areas although the vines disappeared in the 1930s due to illness.
