Lac des Demoiselles 2.39

Mark and Yvonne are delighted to be the new owners of Lac des Demoiselles which is their home and business venture situated in the French Commune of Bussiere-Poitevine, in the Haute-Vienne department of the Limousin region in Western France.
Together with their home they have a Gite and 18 acres of land containing a lake with full fishing rights. The lake is available for course fishing and contains a good stock of mirror and common carp up to 55 lb, pike, perch, roach and black bass.
Along with the lake they have a beautiful fully equipped self-catering Gite available for let for short or long term breaks. The Gite has a good sized bedroom with a king sized bed and a Juliette balcony overlooking Lac des Demoiselle. The living area contains a double sofa bed which will happily accommodate a further 2 persons. There is private outdoor space for the occupants.

Day ticket and 24 hour fishing are available. The Gite is also available for those wanting a peaceful and relaxing holiday in the rural Limousin region. There is a swimming pool for residents, nature walks and plentiful bird life. To date up to 20 golden oriole around the lake, black backed shrike, red start, black kite, king fishers and several types of warbler to name but a few have been spotted..

The closest airports are Limoges-Bellegarde Airport which is 53.5 KM and takes approximately 45 minutes drive and Poitiers Airport which is 72 KM and takes approximately 1 hour. Both Airports have cars available for hire or transfers can be arranged with prior notice.

Within easy reach are Limoges, Poitiers and Angouleme, all of which are interesting, vibrant cities with plenty to offer the visitor.
