The house was built over a hundred years ago and was originally a farmhouse. The previous owner completed most of the major renovations about 7 years ago and that was when the gite was converted.
Whilst you can see from the pictures that the house and gite are part of one building, they are completely separate (you could say they are semi-detached).
The gite can only be accessed from its own front door or patio doors so it is completely self-contained.

We tend to use the main house during school holiday time so it’s likely that if you are booking outside of holidays you will have the place to yourselves.

The gite consists of a compact kitchen which is fully equipped with a dishwasher, electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and of course pots, pans, utensils, crockery, cutlery and glasses.

The comfy lounge and dining area has a 2 seater settee and a dining table and chairs for 4 people. There is an LCD TV, Blu-Ray player and HD Freesat which means you have access to a wide range of English channels so you don’t have to miss your favourite programmes!!

Upstairs in the Gite there are 2 bedrooms; the main double room is a good size and would have room for an extra foldaway bed if required. The second bedroom is more compact and we have made the most use of the space by installing a triple sleeper bunk bed – the bottom bunk is a double and the top is a single.
The bathroom consists of a bath, a separate fully enclosed shower cubicle, and a basin and toilet.

From the lounge there are French doors opening out onto the patio area which accesses the garden. This is approximately an acre consisting of grass lawn and an orchard at the bottom.

There is garden furniture, sun loungers and a BBQ available for your use.

There is also a heated swimming pool which is available for your use in high season with a convenient outside shower.

There is a utility/games room which contains a washing machine and tumble dryer.

There is also a selection of books, games, puzzles, DVD’s and a Wii with controllers and games for your use in the gite, which you may find particularly useful on a rainy day.

There is WiFi in the gite and around the perimeter of the house.

There is also central heating in the gite and a woodburner for in the winter months.

All bedding, linen and towels are provided for your convenience.

The prices are as follows:

High Season - £625 per week

Low Season - £450 per week

(High Season is from 1st May to 30th September)
