La Chapelle De Fitou 2.81

A first attempt to use the chapel for cultural purposes was made in the 2000s by Mrs Françoise Franzini and an association who organized two exhibitions of paintings, with the implicit consent of the town hall. This initiative was not followed and the association was disbanded shortly thereafter.

The place remained empty until early 2003 when a group of local volunteers was formed. Together with the municipality, a project for the development of the site has been established.
This group was formed, April 10, 2004, in association law of 1901 under the name "La Chapelle de Fitou" and started this year its first events, which were followed by others over the years until today.
