La Basse Cour : B&B with Gardens in France 3.64

La Basse Cour is an 18th century Normandy farmhouse which we renovated and converted for Bed & Breakfast in 2004. Since then we have created beautiful gardens and a large wildfowl pond in its grounds, overlooking farmland and forest, providing accommodation for couples and adult groups who appreciate gardens, nature and peaceful surroundings.

Our village is just 8km from the medieval town of Alençon and 40km from Le Mans, on the southernmost border of Normandy and the Pays de la Loire. Quiet country lanes and forest tracks make this an ideal location for walkers and mountain biking.

Our en-suite bedrooms have individual charm and character, with exposed beams and maintained to the most exacting standards. Free Wi-Fi and breakfast are included in our prices. Guests have full use of the gardens, terraces and their own sitting room facilities.

For essential purchases the village shops are just 200m away and neighbouring villages and towns have a wide choice of restaurants.
