Since 1997, GlobAlong’s founder multiplied volunteering trips around the world. Thanks to her local contacts in the countries, she decided to found a social organization to give others the opportunity to live these unforgettable moments.

Indeed, experience shows that when you try to understand and accept others, especially in developing countries, the traveller learns a lot about himself too. When you come back from a trip rich in human and social experiences, your vision of the world has changed and it is easier to cope with your daily life.

GlobAlong is independent of any religions, political parties or economic organizations. We exist only thanks to the participations of our volunteers/students. A part of our profits is dedicated to donations to help people in need.

We organize customized trips for short or long periods. The programmes we offer allow you to gain knowledge about the visited country, its culture and language. The aim of a professional organization of a trip is to avoid bad surprises, to travel peacefully and to be entirely dedicated to the volunteering programme you have chosen.

Our participants are aged 18 to 99, because we think that anyone can have an interesting exchange and that it is not too late to broaden the horizon and to develop relationships with foreign communities.

From our point of view, volunteering doesn’t stop at the end of your stay. Most people who have experienced an immersion in a developing country continue their good deed once they’re back home. In general, you care more about the environment, give less importance to material things and you realise that a daily gesture can have an important worldwide effect.

GlobAlong and its local partners offer the opportunity to understand, accept and respect others and oneself.
