In 2013, our family bought Chateau Monteil.
After more than a decade of deterioration, we have invested two years renovating the property.
We finally had the opportunity to begin welcoming our very first guests in August 2015.

Chateau Monteil is a family owned B&B Chambres et Tables d'hote in Calviac en Perigord, catering to groups, couples and families.
We are equidistant to the medieval town of Sarlat and Souillac A20 Autoroute - Motorway, approximately 15 minutes.

Sarlat, Domme, La Roque-gageac, Beynac et Cazenac, Castelnaud and Lascaux are our nearby attractions all within 15 up to 40 minutes drive from us.
There's a huge choice of activities in the area too. From canoeing, tree hopping, cave and garden visits to the more extreme paragliding and hot air ballooning.
All of these awaits you here in the beautiful Perigord Noir of the Dordogne.

We offer a total of 3 large family suites. All are well equipped with en-suite facilities, WiFi access, and complimentary toiletries.
Double bedrooms for 2 can also be arranged. Please contact us for availability.

During your stay with us, you get to enjoy a Continental breakfast buffet to energize and prepare you to a day full of activities!

On the property you will see our exotic Cameroon Sheep freely grazing on the grounds and our friendly Chickens that provides us fresh eggs for breakfast.

Evening meals are available twice a week every Wednesday and Saturday.
For only 25€ per person for a 4 course meal & coffee.
Bottles of wine are available from 12€.
For young diners, 15€ per child aged 11 and younger for Main + Dessert & Drinks.
