The Pyrenees: One of the most beautiful nature reserves in Europe. It stretches 450 km from the Mediterranean to the Atlantic and there are no less than 200 peaks above 3000 meter.

Here at Casa Obelisque we have a special Petanque (Boule) ground as well as archery on the premises.
Also a lovely barbecue area is available for general use.
Within a short distance there is cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, kayaking, canoeing and white water rafting.
The Tour de France is passing by each year in very close proximity.
Lourdes, Toulouse, Luchon, Biarritz and Carcassonne are all within 1-2 hours drive.
Local attractions are: Pic du Midi, St. Bertrand de Comminges, Grottes de Gargas, Monastery Escaladieu, L'Eglise St. Jean Baptiste Montrejeau and of course the nature reserve parks of the Pyrenees.
Also available in the area: Parapente (Paragliding), Sky diving, hiking and , of course, cycling.

About Le Recoin

The farm has been constantly upgraded over the past 12 years and does not lack any of the amenities you would expect from a modern accommodation. There is free wifi (with free calls to European landlines and the US), an outdoor pool (6,50x4,50) and a sauna. The premises are 7.000 sqm with beautiful old trees and man-made ponds and paths.
