Arbasoen Ildotik USA 2016 2.21

"Dans le sillon des ancêtres": En octobre 2016, les 6èmes actuels du collège Donostei de Saint Etienne de Baigorry, iront aux Etats-Unis, dans le sillon de leurs ancêtres partis vers l'Ouest américain dans l'espoir d'une vie meilleure mais uassi pour aider les familles restées au pays. Durant trois ans, en interdisciplinarité, les élèves étudieront divers thèmes qui leur permettront de mieux connaître l'histoire de leurs aïeux, et d'approfondir leur culture basque.
Ils mesureront l'impact des différentes vagues d'émigration sur notre vallée. Ils découvriront les conditions difficiles auxquelles les bergers basques ont dû faire face dans leur quotidien. Ils compareront leur mode de vie à celui des agriculteurs et viticulteurs de la Californie et du Nevada. Baignés dans des cultures différentes, ils pratiqueront les langues étudiées tout au long de leur scolarité: basque, français, anglais, espagnol.
Nous avons déjà lancé plusieurs actions pour pouvoir réaliser ce projet et nous cherchons des partenaires pour nous accompagner dans cette aventure...

"Arbasoen Ildotik": 2016eko urrian, aurtengo Donostei ikastetxeko 6.ak, Amerikar estatu batuetara airatuko dira, bizi hobeago baten amentsarekin, bai eta ere Euskal Herrian gelditu familien laguntzeko xedearekin, Amerika mendebaldera joan ziren gure arbasoen ildotik. Hiru urtez, euskal kulturaren barnatzeko eta beren arbasoen historia hobeki ezagutzeko gisan, hainbat gai landuko dituzte, ikasgai ezberdinetan. Ikasleek neurtuko dute, gure balean zenbatekoa izan den emigrazio uhain ezberdinen eragina. Euskal artzainek, eguneroko bizian jasan dituzten baldintza zailen berri ukanen dute. Beren bizimoldea konparatuko dute Kaliforniako eta Nebadako mahastizain eta laborariekin. Kultura desberdinetan murgildurik, beren eskolatzean landu hizkuntzak baliatuko dituzte: euskara, frantsesa, inglesa, espanola.
Proiekotu horren gauzatzeko ekintza batsu plantan ezarri ditugu eta partaide batzu xekatzen ditugu gure amentsa betetzeko.

"In the paths of our ancestors": In october 2016, the actual 6th graders od Donostei scholl will go to the United States, in the paths of their ancestors gone to the Far West in the hope of a better life but also to help the families that had stayed in their home towns.
During 3 years, in interdisciplinary, they will study various themes that will allow them to understand better the history of their fore fathers and to increase their knowledge of the basque culture. They will measure the impact that the different emigration flows had in our valley.
They will compare their way of living to the one of California and Nevada farmers and wine growers.
Bathed in different cultures, they will speak the languages they will have studied during their schooling: Basque, french, English and Spanish.
So That our dream becomes a reality, we have already started fundraising but we are also looking for oartners to help us in this adventure.
