14-18 Nantillois 2.8

The collection 14-18 is situated in the midst of historic battlegrounds, which were the scenes of ferocius fighting in September 1918. The 315th regiment of the 79th U.S. Division lost 942 men while moving up from the frontline and finally arriving in Nantillois. The village was completely destroyed.

In our Collection 14 – 18 Nantillois you will be confronted with the silent witnesses to a bloody past. As well as the many battlefield relics, we also use mannequins and photographs to give you an impression of the cruelty and the horrors of the war.

The museum is opened from april to october, beside this period we are only opened by appointment.
