World Geologists 2.5

It is a page to promote the use of Geology -through knowledge - as a tool for improvement of conditions in developing countries.

World Geologists (WG) NGO is active in Spain, Latin America and Africa.
WG plan and execute projects oriented to make drinking water accesible by drilling wells to reach underground water, to distribute water, to construct sanitation infrastructure and to study the territories to prevent and to manage natural risks like volcanos, floods, landslides, earthquakes, etc.

WG is a non-governmental non-profit organization, founded in 1999 to promote, develop and use geology in development cooperation.

Declared of public utility by the Ministry of Interior of Spain, BOE No. 169 of July 16, 2003.
