Welcome To Sugar & Spice 4 shops in 1!
Part gift shop; part food shop; part clothes shop;and part furniture shop. Sugar and Spice is genuinely unlike anywhere you will have seen or been before. We are located in Competa in the Axarquia region of the Costa del Sol. The shop was created by Debbie & Andy Wilkes in an old donkey bodega in their traditional Andalucian town house, lovingly converted to create four separate areas each brimming with luscious, yummy delights and great ideas. In October 2009 the furniture side of the business was expanded to a larger location just across the street and in it’s original place a range of clothes and accessories were introduced.
Sugar & Spice is a haven from the mass production, hard sell ethos that has overtaken the rest of the world. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal and that’s the way we like it.
We are also passionate about the importance of giving back to our community and Sugar & Spice has become a well-known supporter of local organisations, charities & causes.
Unusual Gifts, Furniture, Souvenirs, Homewares & Accessories…….
…..are a few of the many items available. We stock interesting objects from around the world, clothes, original art, vases, ornaments, wallets, jewellery and the list goes on.
If you love food
Sugar and Spice is a sight for sore eyes, we stock a veritable feast of goodies. The shop is packed full of quality food products, both locally produced and imported from around the world. British, Thai, Indian and Oriental foods are stocked, we also stock a wide range of vegetarian, whole foods and spices.
Our extensive range of herbs, spices and cooking ingredients have attracted so much interest from far and wide that we now sell them on line. Through our www.ingredient.es website you can have all those hard to find bits and pieces shipped right to your door. So if you live in Spain but not in the vicinity of Cómpeta don’t worry you no longer have to go without.
