Benahavis - is a mountain village 7km from the coast, situated between Marbella, Estepona and Ronda. Renowned for its restaurants – they call it the dining room of the Costa del Sol – it is above all a picturesque place, where one can find incredible mountain- and sea-views. Boasting 12 of the Costa del Sol's 70 golf courses, and that will go up to 15 in the next couple of years, it is also the hotspot for golf lovers.

Estepona - This once tiny fishing and farming community is at the quieter end of the Costa and has retained much of its pueblo charm. The town has managed to embrace modern tourism without surrendering its traditional Spanish character and appeal. It's the perfect location for a family holiday or for those wanting plenty to see and do without the mayhem of Torremolinos or Benidorm!
There are plentiful bars and restaurants here serving tapas and local Spanish dishes as well as international cuisine and the inevitable burgers and pizzas.

San Pedro - An ancient farming community, famous for growing sSan Pedro is unspoilt and still traditionally Spanish. The main street of San Pedro is Marques del Duero, which boasts many banks and shops, including a pedestrianized street, where you can find ice cream stalls and small bars. San Pedro is home to various fiestas, but the main one is the fair in October. The streets are lined with fairground stalls and rides. The beach front of San Pedro is a very short trip from the apartment. Here you can find many beach bars and restaurants

Puerto Banus - The dazzling marina of Puerto Banus with its luxury yachts, trendy restaurants and bars, is a magnet for visitors to the Costa del Sol and is less than 15 minutes drive from the apartment. Around the port are a string of café’s, bars and restaurants and a string of boutiques and gift shops. While restaurants of the quayside are the places to be seen, you’ll sometimes get better value from the small restaurants tucked away up flights of stairs on the back streets. It’s a great place for spotting celebrities. At night the smart restaurants, trendy bars and clubs are filled with people. The street market is in Puerto Banus (near the bullring) and starts early in the morning until 2 in the afternoon.
Marbella - Is one of the ritziest resorts on the Costa del Sol. It’s the playground of the rich and famous, being only a 20-minute drive from the apartment. The town’s attractions include a thriving commercial centre, the coastal promenade, beach and yacht harbour and the Casco Antiguo (old town). A must is the ‘plaza de Los Naranjos’ (orange square) in the old town. Cross the main road from the beachside to find the picturesque maize of streets, pretty squares and whitewashed buildings. Here you will find a delightful area to browse the shops. This is a popular place to enjoy a drink or eat at one of the many restaurants, in a vibrant atmosphere
Gibraltar - Is the perfect place for a day trip. Once across the Spanish-UK border you will find a host of guides that can take you on tours of the ‘Rock’, which normally includes a drive up to the top of the mountain to encounter the Barbary apes. There is also St. Michael’s cave where you can see beautiful rock formations.
Other great (historical) cities to visit: Malaga, Ronda, Granada, Cordoba and Seville.
