Grupo de investigación BISITE 3.15

El Grupo de Bioinformática, Sistemas Informáticos Inteligentes y Tecnología Educativa (BISITE) -http://bisite.usal.es-, agrupa a un conjunto de investigadores interesados principalmente en el desarrollo y la aplicación de sistemas informáticos inteligentes a distintos tipos de problemas. El grupo BISITE se caracteriza por ser multidisciplinar e interuniversitario. Multidisciplinar por el variado perfil de sus miembros: informáticos, biólogos, farmacéuticos, físicos, oceanógrafos y economistas. Interuniversitario por incluir a investigadores de varias universidades y centros de investigación. El trabajo realizado por este grupo tiene un componente eminentemente práctico, aunque por ello no se olvida de los aspectos teóricos, necesarios en toda investigación. La innovación tecnológica también se aplica en el ámbito de la educación y enseñanza, tanto a nivel de pregrado como de postgrado. En este sentido el grupo BISITE ha desarrollado tanto técnicas como herramientas docentes, sobre la base de sistemas inteligentes y modelos matemáticos de gran ayuda tanto para docentes como para estudiantes.

The Bioinformatics, Intelligent Systems and Educational Technology (BISITE) -http://bisite.usal.es- group brings Together a group of researchers interested primarily in the development and application of intelligent computer systems to various types of problems. BISITE is characterized by multi-disciplinary and inter-university. It is multidisciplinary by the member’s diverse Profile: computer scientists, biologists, chemists, physicists, oceanographers and economists. BISITE’s interuniversity aspect includes researchers from several universities and research centers. The work of this group has a very practical component, although the theoretical aspects, necessary in any research, are not forgotten. Technological innovation also applies to the education and teaching fields, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In this sense BISITE has developed techniques and educational tools based on intelligent systems and mathematical models, of great help for both teachers and students.
