The English Tuition Centre opened its doors for the first time in 1983. In many ways the world was a different place then: Felipe Gonzalez was the Spanish President; Margaret Thatcher resigned supreme in Britain and the idea that most people would have a PC in their home was only a distant dream.

But one thing that has not changed is the E.T.C commitment to quality English teaching. Since 1983 a vast number of students have improved their knowledge of English thanks to the efforts of the school and a very large number of them have enjoyed success in the Cambridge examinations.

Now, more than ever, English is the world's most popular language. One example of that is the fact that over 90% of scientific papers are published in English. It is the language of sport, commerce, communication and popular music. The good news is you can learn it -if you are willing to work.
