Casa La Estrella 2.02

Casa la Estrella, your Spanish home away from home, is a comfortable, small villa situated on a hillside above the beautiful white-washed Andalucian village of Sayalonga, nestled between the sea (11 km) and the mountains near Competa (10 km). The house is located 1.6 km from the village and is reached on a part concreted, part dirt track. It sits in a very quiet location, perfect for a stress free getaway, but close enough to the village, so you can enjoy a few tapas and a glass of wine in the evenings in one of the village restaurants.

The house has 2 available bedrooms with in each a double bed, so ideally suitable for 4 people. It has 2 bathrooms, one with a bath and there is an outside toilet and shower for the pool area.

The 4000m2 garden is planted with orange, olive and avocado trees. It is totally fenced in and is suitable for holiday guests who would like to bring their dog(s).

The property has a secluded terrace with swimming pool and is wonderfully suitable for those guests who like a little more privacy whilst sunbathing.
From the terrace you have stunning views over the countryside, the valley and Maroma, our resident mountain of 2000 metres height. There is a small sea view and on a lovely clear night you can see the coastal lights of Benalmadena twinkle in the distance.

Sayalonga is 50 km from the capital Malaga and only takes 45 minutes to get to by car.

30 Minues drive to the east we have the picturesque town of Nerja with it famous Balcon de Europa and impressive cave (Cuava de Nerja). It is lovely to have a wander around the streets in the evening and try a few local specialities in the different bars and restaurants.
Frigiliana and Competa are also very near and enjoy many visits from tourists each year.

There is a a great variety of activities you can do or explore in the area. The beaches are lovely and the nearest seaside town Algarrobo Costa is only a 15 minutes drive away. Behind Competa there is a natural mountain park, popular with walkers and cyclists, which is also only 15 minutes away.

The house is our personal home, but is available for holiday and short term rental. It means that you are very welcome to use the house as if it were your own, but it is expected that guests treat the property and its contents with respect.
