Enclavado en el histórico barrio de Malasaña, en el corazón de Madrid, junto a la Plaza del Dos de Mayo, conservamos su interior tal y como abrió sus puertas, inalterable aunque en continuo movimiento. Ese lugar acogedor de animada atmósfera vintage cuyos exquisitos cafés, fantástica carta de cocktails y combinados Exclusivos, garantizan el disfrute de nuestros visitantes.
Gran variedad de coacktails, Gin-Tonics, licores, batidos, granizados, cafés, tés, repostería y un gran etc.
Lugar de encuentro de amantes, amigos, escritores, actores, directores de cine y teatro, seguimos celebrando tertulias semanales, reuniones, y distinto tipo de eventos (reuniones, talleres, cumpleaños,...) en nuestro acogedor espacio "La Granja", previa reserva.

Since the beginning of the century, the CAFÉ DE RUIZ is a meeting place for writers, political figures, journalists and artists, whose famous gatherings resulted in political movements, thoughts and works that still survive. Café de Ruiz has a place in the Spanish transition to democracy, being cited in the articles of Francisco Umbral in El País newspaper at the time.
Nestled in the historic neighborhood of MALASAÑA, two blocks from the Plaza del dos de Mayo, we keep the inside as it was a hundred years ago, unchanged although in constant motion. Along with the music that accompanies us (the best Swing, Jazz, Blues, Rock & Roll, Bossa…from the 20’s up today) a lively vintage atmosphere is created, which together with our exquisite coffees and splendid menu of cocktail, ensure the enjoyment of our visitors.

A meeting place for lovers, friends, writers, actors, filmmakers, theatermakers, we celebrate weekly poesy gatherings and different kind of events (meetings, workshops, birthdays ...) in our cozy space "La Granja", by reservation.
