Born & raised in Syria, the founder of Zeit & Zaatar Ayhem Nasry fell in love with a syrian Shawurma restaurant & dreamed of having his own restaurant that serves the same quality, yet offers a wider variety of food.
On July 17, 2011 he founded Zeit & Zaatar Al Sham restaurant as take away only with only Syrian chefs.
Attracting a lot of Maadi residents, he opened the dining hall on February, 14, 2014 with 2 remaining Syrian chefs & an amazing egyptian team.
