Waldorf for Luxor 2.11

Education is by far the most important thing in the world, but what if the schools do not teach? This is the problem we have in Egypt. In Luxor we have schools, schools with 50 children in one classroom, a teacher with insufficient knowledge of the teaching subjects, let alone the ability to talk to the children about the building, hygiene or respect. Many big cities in Egypt offer expensive international schools, which only a small percentage of the Egyptian population can afford. However, in Luxor we have none.
For this reason we want to build a new school, an international school for Egyptians and foreigners, accessible to all people regardless of their income. Our goal is not to build an expensive international school with swimming pool and a lot of extras, it is to create a good school where children feel safe to learn, to think, to play and to be themselves!
In order to make this happen, we are looking for qualified people who care about good education.
We need:
- Someone with extensive knowledge on running a school, who can help us further develop our vision into reality*
- Certified teachers*
- A sponsor to finance the school building
