The Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center - BACC 5.28

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center (BACC) was built on an area of 5000 m2 , and was inaugurated on 22 August 1991.
It is located on the waterfront across from the Eastern Harbor and Silsilah Peninsula. The Conference Center and the Main Library are connected underground below the Plaza of Civilization.
The Conference Center and the Main Library, with their joint capacity, are a center of culture and a beacon of knowledge to serve Egypt, the Mediterranean Region, Africa and the world.
A main feature of the BACC is it holds international conferences, and it offers comprehensive services and diverse facilities.
It meets the requirements of highly-sophisticated conferences. It accommodates symposiums, meetings and presentations; and can host, simultaneously or independently, exhibitions and poster sessions.



تم بناء مركز مؤتمرات مكتبة الإسكندرية على مساحة ٥٠٠٠ متر مربع. وقد افتتح المركز في 22 من شهر أغسطس ١٩٩١. والمركز جزء رئيسي من مبنى مكتبة الإسكندرية ويقع على البحر أمام الميناء الشرقي ومنطقة السلسلة. ويرتبط المركز ومبنى المكتبة الرئيسي تحت سطح الأرض أسفل ساحة الحضارات الخارجية (البلازا)، وتشكل المكتبة ومركز المؤتمرات كنزًا للثقافة ومنارة للعلم والمعرفة في خدمة مصر ومنطقة البحر المتوسط وإفريقيا والعالم أجمع.
ويعنى مركز المؤتمرات باستضافة المؤتمرات الدولية، وتقديم الخدمات الشاملة والمتنوعة للمؤتمرات والندوات والاجتماعات والدورات التعليمية.
