TED is a non-profit devoted to spreading ideas through organizing conferences and large events that give chances to speakers with ideas worth spreading.

TEDx is an initiative created by TED to allow other independent organizers to create their own local TED-like events, by granting them a particular license under the name of a particular place or society where the event will be held. The x in TEDx stands for independently organized TED event.

TEDxWadiElRayan is created by young Fayoum resident youths to encourage the TED theme like idea and advocate the spread of ideas in Fayoum city, through creating our independent TEDx event.
