The Culinary magic all started when an incredible woman, who's the amazingly talented Amina El Deeb known as "Manna", established the best patisserie & confisserie in Alexandria in 1969.
Her delicacies began to mesmerize all the Alexandrians once her shop opened its doors to the public. Soon enough, all the elite & the creme de la creme of the Alexandrian society became addicted to her sweet & savory goods, with a star-studded list of regulars like Abdel Halim Hafez, Mohammed Abdel Wahab & all the prestigious families in town. To date, Manna is the elite society's first choice.
Manna was the Jewel of her family & her name will forever be engraved in their hearts as well as the Alexandrians' hearts... they vowed to carry her name for eternity & hope that we'd always make her proud as she shines down from heaven. She was, still is & will always be the best mentor, role model and muse anyone could ever ask for.
Carrying on with the tradition & keeping the standards ever so high, yet always renovating, nowadays Manna has many branches all over Egypt to satisfy all the sweet-toothed Egyptians who appreciate freshly baked, delicious gourmet products. Manna's secret recipes still prevail & whatever new additions to the already vast array of delicious products are, they are always inspired by the original recipes, yet made with a modern twist.
The Manna team is one big, fat, happy family, as it's a family-oriented business. we honor & love our loyal & hardworking chefs & workers, as they were all young boys when they started working with Manna, grew up being influenced by her goodness & became men. Manna is owned by Manna's only two sons, Ahmed & Ashraf El Abany, they never had any partners and have no franchises their business has been sole owned by Manna her self. Two of her grand children vowed to take care of the business to their late grandmother, Soliman Ahmed El Abany as the Junior General Manager & May Ahmed El Abany as the Production's Renovation Manager; therefore, all is done under the loving family umbrella.
Being the dessert pioneers, we proudly have very good relations with all who ventured in the patisserie market. We are people who believe that positive, healthy competition always complements & enhances any business. though few new names are trying to blindly copy Manna we simply see pride in leading the market and believe that an original is always perfect and much worth than a copy.
New sweet & savory additions have been introduced to the product-family; macaroons to die for, drool-inducing savory cakes, heavenly canapes, Manna-esque gateaux soiree, candy bars, macaroon towers, chocolate and fondant balls, colored chocolate fondue & chocolate fountains & last but no least, the walking candy bar!
