Lebaladna was founded with the goal to give, to help, and to do our part in reducing the inequalities that plague our society. Through its various projects, Lebaladna does not only seek to provide education, health care, shelter and food supply to Egypt's underprivileged communities, it also aims to emphasize the links that hold different factions of Egyptian society together. As a social development foundation, Lebaladna focuses on the key pillars that contribute in reforming the infrastructure of Egypt which are: 1. Basic Education 2. Youth Development 3. Poverty Eradication Considering the developing nature of the country, its vast human resources and its rapidly-growing economy, reforming Egypt's basic pillars has become a priority for Egypt's social development. In deep belief in the national reform aiming for a better country and striving to make a difference, We started by a small project in Ramadan 2006, which is cooking and distributing Ramadan meals to underprivileged Egyptians, followed by the launch of an educational project for orphans. Step by step Lebaladna started increasing its projects such as renovation of houses in Fayoum, buying electrical appliances for orphans weds, charitable clothes exhibitions Our projects have ranged from cooking and distributing meals in Ramadan, to helping students return to school, to distributing blankets across the country, among many other projects and charitable events. The continuous support of each and every member, friend, volunteer, and supporter has consistently pushed us forward. We are particularly grateful to the support of Dr.Nawal El Degwi. So far, Lebaladna has proved that where there is a dream, a strong will and commitment to development, then the impossible can be achieved. Now, it is time to develop the foundation further so we are prepared to tackle even bigger dreams. We live in challenging times. But moments of struggle sometimes force us to thrive.
