توسيع قاعدة المشاركة فى الممارسات الفنية وسط المجتمعات المحلية لجنوب مصر , الغني بأرثه الحضارى والفريد فى مخرجاته التلقائية و المنفتح على الثقافات الوافدة , بغرض سد الحاجة الى ممارسة الفنون ودمجها مجتمعيا كعنصر اساسى فى عملية التنمية المستدامة .

نحو مجتمع ثري بثقافته , قيم على ارثه الحضارى و قادر على استثماره لصالح مستقبله بشكل مستديم.

الأهداف


1- تيسير الممارسة الفنية فى الشارع لتحفيزه على المشاركة والابداع .
2- اكتشاف المواهب الفطرية ودعمها و دفعها للتواصل مع الفنانين المحليين والعالم الخارجى .
3- تطوير الحرف التقليدية و الصناعات اليدوية .
4- تنمية السياحة الثقافية ونشر الوعى السياحى .



Gobly is an independent, nonprofit , Community development scheme which uses heritage , culture and traditional arts as tools to improve conditions in small-scale local communities in upper Egypt facing enormous challenges – growing poverty, high levels of youth unemployment, women inequality and social marginalization.

The project offers opportunities for local artists, creative practitioners, civil sector and interested individuals in rural areas to implement cultural and artistic projects and to build the capacities of local communities for further local development.
Gobly is located in luxor and run by organizers committed to the idea that cultural policy has to be driven by the cultural needs and habits of the individuals in local communities, regardless of their ethnic, religious, educational, social or gender background.
Activities

• Capacity Building Activities; painting, sculpture , traditional music and the art of storytelling workshops designed to build the capacities of the children and local artists in rural communities.
• Training workshops on handicrafts; ;jewelry making ,embroidery, papyrus and stained glass tailored for youth and women in order to produce authentic and qualified products derived from heritage and environment of upper Egypt .
• Socio-Cultural Animation activities: music performances; Art exhibitions and cultural exchange programs in order to enrich cultural life in rural communities;
• Regional networking - regional meetings and on-site visits in order to improve the approach to the cultural and social development of rural communities and build the capacities of project partners;
• Promotional activities in order to raise the interest for rural cultural development and promote the project's approach and results.
