FCES .KFS University teaching methodology depends on different types of hard and soft material. However, when using textbooks, FCES uses the latest editions of internationally recognized and widely used English textbooks. It is the responsibility of the English Section to make these books available to all students before the beginning of each semester. Different Majors and Specializations:

FCES .KFS University offers 2 main majors. All programs are studied over four years, divided into eight terms. The first three years are common to the following two majors.

Accounting
Business administration


Specializations occur only in the fourth year. Accounting major:

This major offers students the accounting experience and knowledge that is needed by nearly most of business organizations in today's world. Accounting major offers undergraduate students a high quality degree program in accounting focusing on technical knowledge and intellectual skills required for accountants that meet national and regional standards of excellence. Therefore, students will be taught by highly qualified academic staff with teaching, academic research, and professional experience. The key features of the degree are:

To provide students with a broad-based education with an emphasis on accounting and auditing
To give students knowledge and understanding of the conceptual and practical aspects of accounting as an academic discipline, at a breadth and depth appropriate to a first-degree qualification, meeting the requirements of the benchmarking statements and the national qualifications.
To provide students with a common body of knowledge applicable to modern business operations in various types of organizations and enterprises.
To facilitate the development of relevant skills to include analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, and written and oral communications.
To enable students recognize the increasing complexity of business. To deal with this complexity students will receive exposure to professional standards, professional ethics, and information technology.
To give students sufficient technical knowledge to pursue a variety of career opportunities in accounting and auditing.
To provide students with the basic skills for those wishing to pursue a graduate degree in accounting.

Business administration major:

This major provides you with an understanding of the role and operation of business organizations in relation to the broader economic and social environment. Business Administration program is designed to give students a thorough understanding of the theory and practice of business and management studies, as well as an appreciation of their roles in the operation of organizations. This B.A. offers undergraduate students a high quality degree program in business focusing on business knowledge and intellectual skills required for managers that meet national and regional standards of excellence. The key features of the degree are:

To provide students with a broad-based education with an emphasis on management skills and strategic management.
To give students knowledge and understanding of the conceptual and practical aspects of business as an academic discipline, at a breadth and depth appropriate to a first-degree qualification, meeting the requirements and the national qualifications.
To provide students with a common body of knowledge applicable to modern business operations in various types of organisations and enterprises.
To facilitate the development of relevant skills to include analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving.
To deal with business complexity students will receive exposure to professional standards, professional ethics, and information technology.
To give students sufficient technical knowledge to pursue a variety of career opportunities in business.وافق المجلس الأعلى للجامعات بتاريخ 7 /11/1990 م على إنشاء فرع لجامعة طنطا بكفر الشيخ وقد بدأ الفرع في قبول الطلاب الجدد من مكتب التنسيق اعتبارا من العام الجامعي 1995 /1996 م .

وقد بدأت الكلية بمبني إداري واحد , حيث أعتمدت دراسياً علي المدرجات والقاعات الدراسية الخاصة بكلية زراعة .

وقد قام بالإشراف علي الكلية بعد إنشائها كفرع لكلية طنطا للأداء أعمال العمادة هو عدد من الأساتذة هم :

§ الأستاذ الدكتور / عدلي محمد توفيق الدمنهوري – أستاذ المالية العامة .

§ الأستاذ الدكتور / سمير محمد مصطفى الجزار – أستاذ المحاسبة والمراجعة

§ الأستاذ الدكتور / السيد احمد إسماعيل السقا - أستاذ المحاسبة والمراجعة

وبناء على القرار الجمهوري رقم 129 لسنة 2006 م بتحويل فرع كفر الشيخ جامعة طنطا إلي جامعة مستقلة تم استقلال كلية التجارة عن جامعة طنطا .

ونظراً للقرار رقم 674 في 22 /6 /1992 م والخاص بإصدار اللائحة التنفيذية لجامعة طنطا التي طبقت على فرع الكلية بكفر الشيخ حتى موافقة مجلس جامعة كفر الشيخ بجلسته في 27 /8 /2006 م على تطبيق ذات اللائحة على كلية التجارة جامعة كفر الشيخ ، وتم تعيين أول عميد رسمي لها في 21/11/2007 م وهو الأستاذ الدكتور / يوسف عبد الوهاب عبد القادر- أستاذ المحاسبة والمراجعة .

وقد بدأ التعيين بالكلية بعدد بسيط من أعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة عن طريق النقل من الكليات الأخري , ثم تم استكمال باقي الهبية التدريسية عن طريق العلان عام 2010 م .

كما تم تخصيص وبناء مبنيين مكونين من عشر مدرجات والعديد من القاعات الدراسية ومعامل الحاسب المجهزة ليكونا المقر الجديد للكلية التي كانت تضم الشعبة العربية فقط إلي أن تم افتتاح قسم اللغة الإنجليزية 2007 م . والذي ضم مثله مثل قسم اللغة العربية شعبتين هما شعبة المحاسبة المراجعة وشعبة إدارة الأعمال .
وتضم الكلية اربعة أقسام علمية هى قسم الاقتصاد ، قسم الإحصاء والرياضة , محاسبة والمراجعة ، وقسم إدارة الأعمال , كما تضم أيضاً العديد من الوحدات ذات الطابع الخاص .
