Engineering for Kids brings Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), to kids ages 4 to 14, in a fun and challenging way, through classes, camps, clubs, and parties. We are proud to inspire children to build on their natural curiosity by teaching engineering concepts through hands-on learning. Engineering is, after all, one of the fastest growing industries in the world!
Engineering for Kids comes from the mind of educator Dori Roberts. With an extensive educational background in math and technology, Roberts taught engineering at the high school level for 11 years. During her teaching career, she saw a need for math, science and engineering programs. To fill this void, she started an after school club that participated in various engineering and science-based competitions.
Today, Engineering for Kids offers a suite of programs for children ages 4 to 14 introducing them to STEM through a variety of workshops, all aimed at developing problem solving skills. Programs include after school programs, evening classes, in-school field trips, workshops, birthday parties, camps, scouts workshops, and pre-school programs.
Now, Engineering for Kids currently opened 103 branches in 32 States in the USA and reached more than 17 other countries; Austria, Canada, India, Mexico, Panama, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Turkey, the Philippines, Mexico, Chile, Colombia and now EGYPT.
Dori believes that all children are natural engineers. They are curious, creative, and kinetic. Engineering For Kids wants to help nurture and develop those minds, to help children better understand the world they live in, so that they can one day make it better. This is the vision of not only Dori, but everyone involved in the Engineering For Kids experience. The hope is to engineer a bigger magic kingdom, one that goes beyond states and countries and reaches every mind under the sun.
