The word tapas in Spanish literally means “a lid” - and the term was thought to have come from the habit of having an assortment of nibbles with a drink, and the necessity of placing a saucer (or tapas) on top of the glass. Named after the small beers served in southern Spain, Dos Cañas has drawn inspiration from dishes around the world, whether they are South American staples, Indian spices, or continental classics. All dishes are bite sized, and meant to be shared amongst the table.

ADDITIONAL INFO
We take reservations between 2pm and 9pm.

The last call for food is at 11:45pm, the last call for drinks is 12:45am (weekdays) and an hour later for each on the weekends.

If you are more than 30 minutes late for your reservation, your table will be automatically released and your reservation cancelled, without a courtesy phone call. Your table will be given away on a first come first serve basis.

Our age policy is such that we do not allow anyone under 21 years of age, and will ID those who we believe to be under that age.

It is at the discretion of our doorman whether your party will be allowed to enter or not, regardless of if you have a reservation. At the end of the day we are a drinking establishment in addition to a restaurant, and if our doorman decides that you or your party does not fit the culture, you will be denied entry. His decision is final.

Inappropriately dressed people will be turned away. No flip flops, cutoff shorts, tank tops for men.

We cannot guarantee specific tables, but will do our best to accommodate you if you have seating requests.

We do not have bands, live entertainment, or loud music. We only play background music at a conversational level.
