Chillax Dahab - keep calm & carry on 3.6

Chillax is hidden amongst the bazaars and dime-a-dozen restaurants along the waterfront strip. You gotta look carefully. Basically if you find Shark restaurant, turn around and Chillax will be behind you, down the alleyway next to the National Bank.

Menu options are pretty simple, Chicken, Beef or Vege burgers. Quality is certainly top of the agenda here and it shows.

Burgers are served with a red onion relish and lettuce, tomato, mayo.
Chillax burgers are slabs of seriously good meat. The beef is full of flavor and juice aplenty. The red onion relish is packed with some real sweet flavor.
The cheese burgers have “real” cheddar, melted just the way it should be.

The potato wedges deserve a few words to themselves. You have to state you want wedges with your burger otherwise you’ll get standard “token gesture here-are-the-chips-to-go-with-your-burger-chips”. The wedges are pretty epic! They have a super crispy exterior and are light and fluffy inside. These are damn fine!

There are also a few quirky touches such as traditional milk and date drinks and private “caves” to hide away from the world.

Hands of Dahab Market is in Chillax every Thursday afternoon, 2-6pm. Locals sell handmade products which benefits the community.

Where are we????????? OK, I'll tell you again .... CHILLAX Gourmet Burger Restaurant is located on Dahab's Boulevard next to the ATM machines of the Egyptian National Bank. We're a little hard to see because of the neighboring bazaar merchandise almost blocking our entrance way.
But please persevere, we are there! If you can see Shark Restaurant in front of you, look behind and you'll see the corridor leading to our front door.
