Downtown. Cool apartment.

Artists. Musicians. Writers. Dancers. Poets. Designers. Anyone interested.

What for?
Artists’ studio. Exhibiting space. Rehearsal space. Collaborative projects. Small-scale performances. Film screenings. Raw footage. Gatherings. Participatory activities. Work in progress.

What does it offer?
A space, and an alternative venue.

How is it different?
No fancy publicity. No solo shows. No dress code. No minimum charge. No commercial attractions. No propaganda. Casual events. Informal. Several mediums. Several performances. Participatory. Organic.

How much?
No commission, just a small participation and/or attendance fee. We know everyone asks for commission. But we’re not interested in making money off your talents. No ulterior motives.

Would that be enough?
Expenses are public – how much we need, how broke we are. If you like this initiative, commit to giving it some cash. We hope it’ll add up to the right amount.

What’s the right amount?
4000 LE per month – bare minimum to cover expenses (rent, water, electricity, maintenance)

What’s the purpose?
To share without posing. The art scene is repetitive, in faces, projects and conversations. This could be the start of something else.
