Ansary labs, founded since 1987 by Prof. Dr. Mervat El- Ansary, Head of Clinical and Chemical Pathology, Faculty of medicine, Alkasr Al-Einy Cairo University.
We are a chain of labs (Maadi, Nobar, Mohandeseen, Abol-Rish , Heliopolis, Nasr City and Shobra), offering high Quality Laboratory Service.
Our labs Certified by many accredited bodies: Quality management (ISO 9001-2008), accuracy in many laboratory techniques (EQAS by Bio-Rad, RIQAS by Randox).
Our Stuff is integrating a team of professionals from different biomedical fields under close supervision of Professors, Consultants and Specialists in Clinical and Chemical Pathology.
Our labs cover many laboratory specialties (Immunology, Molecular diagnostics, Cytogenetic, Hematology, Clinical chemistry, Microbiology and Parasitology).
Our labs are dedicated to carry out special analytical tests and sophisticated techniques, especially in Immunology, Molecular diagnostics and genetic diagnosis such as Karyotyping, FISH, and PCR Techniques which not only used for diagnosis of infectious diseases but used also to genetic diagnosis of FMF (Familial Mediterranean Fever), Leukemia (e.g. Philadelphia Chromosome), Infertility (e.g. X-Y Chromosome By FISH) and many autoimmune diseases and syndromes which need genetic diagnosis.
Our labs have an advanced unit for Tissue Typing for Histocompitability testing (HLA Class I and HLA Class II loci), Panel Reactive antibodies (PRA) and Cross match which used for patients prepared for organ transplantation.
Our labs have an advanced Microbiology unit used for diagnosis of many infectious diseases which have bacterial origin and detection of antibiotics resistant bacteria like ESBL, MRSA and other resistant strains which make problems with physician during treatment of many infectious diseases.
Our labs have many Automated Equipments like Immulite2000 used for many Hormonal assays and accurate detection of tumor markers, Architect i2000 for virology diagnosis of many viruses (HCV Abs, HBVs Ag, HIV type 1&2 Abs,…….etc), Olympus AU400 & Hitachi902 auto analyzers for chemical analysis of blood (liver function tests, kidney function tests, lipid profile, blood glucose level, ……….etc), Cell-Tac, Cell dyn & Excel automated cell counters for counting blood elements ( platelet count, WBCs count, RBCs count, Hb level &Blood indices),DADE Behring (BFT II) Coagulometer for coagulation factors & anticoagulation therapy monitoring ( prothrombin time& INR , PTT, fibrinogen,…..etc),Turbi -Quick and Turbitimer for complement level (C3,C4, CRP, Antithrombin III, Immunoglobulin level such IgM, IgG, IgA &IgE, ……..etc), Nephstar for detection of( beta 2microglobulin, Rheumatoid Factor, alpha 1 antitrypsin, Apo lipoprotein A, Ceruloplasim, Ultra sensitive CRP, …etc), I-lyte for measuring of blood Na &K level.
