My inspiration comes from travels, in particular to Central America, and from the people I meet on the way who give me insights and motivation. My Mayan friend who lives in San Cristobal, and his friends who craft Jade stones and Amber, provide me with stones and in return I am happy to support their independent living. I also love to use material that I find in nature, get from special places or people, or that have special meaning. Some people believe in the magic of stones, but whether or not you do, I like to believe that there are some powers in my artesania. All items are hand-made, using materials such as precious stones, beads, shells, seeds, wooden and glass pearls, ceramics and waxed macrame thread.
