TOVES 4.01

TOVES is an exhibition space and production unit based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Experimenting with co-production, and external exhibition projects, TOVES continue to develop and renew the organization of the production and exhibition of art.

From 2010-2012 Toves Galleri occupied an empty commerce space in the shopping arcade Toves Galleri named after renowned author and ghetto girl Tove Ditlevsen (1917-76). Behind glass walls, amongst busy shoppers and with a pounding soundtrack from a fitness center next door, Toves Galleri has shown over 35 shows the last 2,5 years.

In May 2013 TOVES briefly relocated to Kunsthal Charlottenborg showing three exhibitions under the moniker Toves Salon.

Since October 2013 TOVES has been located in a 155 m2 old print workshop on Amager, Copenhagen.

The exhibitions are open Wednesdays + Saturdays from 12.00 -16.00
