PASSION
Drawing and painting is my passion.
My drawing- and painting universe spans over classical drawing to colorful paintings and decorative illustrations.

INSPIRATION
Animals. Nature. Females. Line. Texture. Color. Those things inspire me.
My impressions calls me to draw and paint them, either in a realistic way or more expressive ways.

For my pattern/printdesigns, I like to start out with handdrawings. I like the skewness and quirkyness from handdrawings vs the more polished look of computerdrawings. I do add color on the computer sometimes, it gives the freedom of repeating a subject in different hues.

ADDICTION
I am very addicted to drawing- and paintingmedia. When I create - lively lines in pencil, ink and colored pencil, the delicate translucent layer-by-layer in watercolors, and the watercolors exciting colorsplashes, the soft diffuse transitions between tones and fine details with pastel and lovely colorful textures in acrylic paint - then I am in a state, ranging from excitement to meditative calmness and flow.
