Himmafushi is one of the inhabited islands of Kaafu Atoll.It is located in North Malé Atoll. Himmafushi is about 18km from the airport - the only way you can reach it is by boat. Himmafushi, a local island geographically recognized for its world famous surfing and diving spots.Getting to Himmafush To reach the hotels in Himmafushi Island, a public ferryboat OR chartered speedboat can be arranged by the hotel for which payment will be collected upon check –in. Please contact the hotel to book your transfer arrangement at least 3 days prior to your arrival. Your arrival and departure flight details and full names of traveling party will be required. You will need to transfer from the airport to Male by ferry - this goes most of the time and frequently and will cost US$1. Locally arranged airport pickups can be very unreliable.Public Ferryboat Ferryboat takes 50 minutes to reach Himmafushi Island and costs approximately USD 2.00 per person per way.
