Our KALTBACH cheese is refined in the sandstone caves at Kaltbach. The caves provide the perfect climate for each KALTBACH cheese to mature to its full potential. The ageing process in the caves gives the cheese its unique flavour, which deserves our KALTBACH seal and the awards it regularly wins. 150,000 cheese wheels are stored in the caves, which stretch over 2.3 kilometres.
