Café Gaya is a beautiful oasis in the heart of Aarhus. One of it's main qualities is the atmosphere. In a recent article in the Danish newspaper Århus Stiftstidende, the heading was 'The atmosphere between the lines' or in Danish 'Stemningen mellem linierne'. This atmosphere is beyond words, but expresses the intention held by the owner. It is something you simply have to experience for yourself. Café Gaya is a meeting place where you are warmly welcomed and is a place where you can even come on your own and expect to meet someone you know or even make new friends!

All the food is homemade and 100% organic.

The main attraction is the fresh, healthy and delicious power salads, made with seasonal vegetables and tossed in a delicious dressing that gives the salad character.

If you want something hot, you can order the hot meal of the day, served with two optional power salads.

In addition, we also make sandwiches, both in a gluten-free and in a coarse spelled version. Choice of filling is hummus, gouda or walnut brie.

For thirst we make fresh juices or creamy smoothies. In addition, we have a large selection of Søbogaard juice, Voelkel / Biozisch diet soda and Nature Fresh soda from Ørbæk brewery in Fyn.

And then there's a wide selection of coffee and tea! Try for example. Cafe Gayas chai latte: Strong, sweet, creamy and delicious.

We strive, wherever possible, to meet the high demand we are seeing for gluten free, sugar-free and raw dishes. Everything is vegetarian! Most are vegan. Remember the cafe latte or hot chocolate for example can also be made with soy or rice milk.

The entire menu is also produced as a Take Away!

For wheelchair users:
There is access to the café via a ramp from the rear entrance in the court yard, where there is also a handicap-friendly toilet.

At Café Gaya there is often also exciting lectures, workshops, yoga and Pilates instruction.

Further to this often live music at Fridays.

Al vores mad er hjemmelavet og 100 % økologisk.

Udgangspunktet er de friske, sunde og velsmagende powersalater, lavet med årstidens grøntsager og vendt i en lækker dressing, der giver salaten karakter.

Ønsker du noget varmt kan du bestille dagens varme ret, som serveres med to valgfri powersalater.

Derudover laver vi også sandwich, både i en glutenfri og i en grov spelt-udgave. Vælg mellem hummus, Gouda eller valnøddebrie.

Til tørsten laver vi friskpressede juicer eller cremede smoothies. Derudover har vi et stort udvalg af Søbogaard saft, Voelkel/ Biozisch sukkerfri sodavand og Naturfrisk sodavand fra Ørbæk bryggeriet på fyn.

Og så er der selvfølgelig et stort udvalg af kaffe og te! Prøv f.eks. Cafe Gayas chai-latte: Stærk, sødlig, cremet og lækker.

Vi bestræber os på, så vidt muligt, at imødekomme den store efterspørgsel vi oplever på fx glutenfrie, sukkerfrie og raw retter. Alt er vegetarisk! Størstedelen er vegansk. Husk at cafe latten eller den varme chokolade f.eks. også kan laves på soya- eller rismælk.

Det er adgang til caféen via en rampe fra bagindgangen i gården, hvor der også findes et handikapvenligt toilet.

Café Gaya byder ofte også på spændende foredrag, workshops, yoga og pilates undervisning.

Ligeledes er der ofte live musik underholdning om fredagen.
