AquaDania a/s was formed in 2003. After several years focused on the development and testing of a solar distillation technology, AquaDania created a system called WaterStillar.

WaterStillar produces exceptionally clean water from any water source, even if polluted or brakish, including rainwater, salty ocean water and lake water. Its business sees it providing drinking water (on location, wherever the customer happens to be) in direct competition with the bottled equivalent available in the supermarkets or delivered to the front door.

AquaDania is the parent company for the WaterStillar Group. The WaterStillar branches are individually-established joint ventures catering for a strictly defined region.

The WaterStillar system has been extensively tested in a fully-equipped laboratory environment and at several in-field demos in the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region. Dozens of configurations and hundreds of individual tests have been conducted so far. AquaDania's core technologies are all patent-pending.
