Alpha Afrique 1.73

Alpha Afrique presents itself as part of the solution to a growing problem. There are a few African shops, but these are not enough to meet the needs of the people. There definitely is a need, and we are here to meet it. There is a problem, and Alpha Afrique is the solution. To be clear, the problem is not an absence of the shops, it is the inadequacy in number, size and nature of service, and of course price. For one, the Norrebro – Brønshøj - Husum axis has quite a number of Africans, but there is not one African Shop on this axis, where these people can buy their native foodstuff. In addition, we do not see it as fair that you work so hard, earn not so much and still have to pay steep prices for everything, at least, not food, and not cosmetics.
And then there is the issue of originality. The people need to get a supply of their favourite groceries, and these we can supply. A common and indeed normal practice is for people to make do with what they can get. Africans have had to make do with Arab shops, and once in a while, Asian shops. True, Arabs have a number of foods similar to Africans, but these are only substitutes, they are not the same. And to be honest, they are nothing like the original. Imagine an African version of Denmark’s Georg Jensen silverware or an Arab version of Danish artistry, oomph! We even spell Copenhagen differently!
