Der Name Eser ist im Rheingau und speziell in Oestrich seit 1759 für gute Weine bekannt. Das Weingut August Eser, benannt nach dem Großvater der heutigen Besitzerin Désirée Eser, liegt im alten Ortskern von Oestrich, am Friedensplatz, und überzeugt mit seinen aromatischen, fruchtig-frischen Rieslingen sowie den samtigen Spätburgundern nicht nur Weinkenner. Die Weinberge des Familienbetriebes, die 10 ha umfassen, liegen weit über den Rheingau verteilt. Eine Seltenheit und eine einmalige Gelegenheit den Rheingau in einem Keller zu probieren.

The Eser name has been famous for making great good wines since 1759.
The August Eser winery, named after the grandfather of the current owner Miss Désirée Eser, is located in the centre of the village Oestrich. The quality oriented family-run winery produces aromatic, fruity and fresh Rieslings as well charming and elegant Pinot Noirs. The 10 hectares of south-facing vineyards are located in 17 different vineyard sites in eight villages of the Rheingau region. The vineyards which have meadow-earth, clay, slate and loam soils providing a splendid opportunity to taste Rieslings made from different kind of soil types at one estate. However not only the diversity of the vineyards, but the high quality of the grapes makes tasting the handcrafted wines an extraordinary
experience.
The name of August Eser stands for the marvelous variety of the Rheingau Riesling. Therefore the logo “the key to good Rheingau wine” is illustrated on every bottle.
