Jeden Sommer kommen 250 Studierende aus mehr als 50 Ländern zur „Sommeruniversität für Interkulturelle Deutsch-Studien" nach Bayreuth. Der Campus verwandelt sich dann für mehrere Wochen in einen Treffpunkt junger Menschen:

Deutsch studieren, fremde Kulturen kennenlernen und eine unvergessliche Zeit erleben!

Bei uns wird Spracherwerb mit Landeskunde und interkultureller Kommunikation verbunden. Profitieren Sie von unserer langjährigen Erfahrung in der Vermittlung von Deutsch als Fremdsprache mit interkultureller Methodik.

Wir bieten Ihnen ein vielseitiges Kurs- und Kulturprogramm, das Sie je nach Interesse individuell zusammenstellen können.

Der Interkulturelle Sprachkurs findet vormittags statt und wird durch Fachkurse am Nachmittag ergänzt. Wählen Sie Ihr Themengebiet: Film, Europastudien, Musik, Recht, Wirtschaft, Literatur, Journalismus oder Interkulturelle Kommunikation.

Städtetouren, Wanderungen in die Natur, Open-Air-Kino, Literatur-Café und zahlreiche andere Angebote runden unser Programm ab.

Die Sommeruniversität wird seit 17 Jahren von der Universität Bayreuth und dem „Institut für Internationale Kommunikation und Auswärtige Kulturarbeit" (IIK) organisiert und erfreut sich stetig wachsender Beliebtheit bei den Studierenden aus aller Welt.

Each summer 300 students from more than 45 countries come to Bayreuth for the "Summer University for Intercultural German Studies." The campus then transforms for the following weeks into a meeting place for young people:

Study German, become familiar with foreign cultures, and have an unforgettable experience!

We combine the acquisition of language skills with regional studies and intercultural communication. You benefit from our lengthy experience in the teaching of German as a foreign language with intercultural methodology.

We provide you with a diverse course and cultural programme, which you can put together according to your individual interest.

The intercultural language course takes place in the morning and is complemented by a specialised course in the afternoon. Choose your specific area: Film, European Studies, Music, Law, Economics and Business, Literature, Journalism or Intercultural Communication.

City tours, nature hikes, open-air cinema, literature cafe, and countless other offerings top off our programme.

The summer university has been organised for 17 years by the University of Bayreuth and the "Institute for International Communication and Foreign Culture Work" (IIK) and always enjoys growing popularity among students from around the world.
