ISL language center was founded in Ettlingen in 1997 by Annette Friedl and David O’Callaghan. Two years later another school in Pforzheim was opened before the school in Koblenz was purchased in 2001.

Our concept:

As educational institution we believe in the principles as follows:

o Only carefully chosen, pedagogical experienced Native Speaker teach within our school.

o Basic grammar knowledge are as fundamental as the teacher's ability to teach with spirit and enthusiasm.

o Teaching is the most effective within a small and homogeneous group or as private instruction lessons. So the teacher is able to work effectively in order to sort out individual problems and to meet indiviudal needs.

o Our support is focused on individual service and needs of each single student.

o We impart knowledge. Therefore, we are different from our competitors by the best staff members and methods, a smooth organisation and the continous striving for improvment.

The focus on individual goals after a written placement test - based on the European Common Framework - and a personal interview are the basis to meet your own requirements and wishes.
