DQI Mission

The goals of the Deep Quest Institute are to promote FreeDiving activities through education in a safe manner. FreeDiving has been an activity reserved for the very few that knew about it. Often perceived as scary sport. But nothing could be farther away from reality. Free diving can be safely enjoyed by basically anyone, kids of about 8 years old, and up to 70 or older.

In some Latin American countries like, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela, as well as some European countries like, France, Greece, Portugal, Spain and Italy, FreeDiving has been quite popular for years. In countries like the US, free diving hasn't reached its full potential yet. Through a dynamic and aggressive promotional campaign and education, the Deep Quest Institute will increase the number of people practicing and enjoying free diving.

The Deep Quest Institute invites anyone to join the trend towards a really exciting sport. A sport that exceeds the excitement created by scuba diving years ago.
