Diskurs is a festival and platform for performing arts. It was founded in Gießen in 1984 and is organised by students of the Institute for Applied Theatre Studies at the Justus-Liebig-University. The aim of Diskurs is to support young, predominantly European artists and to enable international and intellectual exchange. As such, Diskurs can best be characterised as an open platform for innovative and experimental concepts.
