Derag Livinghotels was founded in the 1980s under the name of Derag Hotel and Living as part of the Derag Group. The company specializes in the „Wohnen auf Zeit“ idea, an American Serviced Apartment concept specially customized for the European/German market. The group‘s first Livinghotel, Max Emanuel, was opened in 1982 in Munich. As marked leader for serviced apartments & city apartments in the German-speaking world, the hotel chain has been known under the name of Derag Livinghotels since 2011 and offers more than 2,500 hotel rooms and apartments to its main target group of business travellers. Guests may choose between 14 different aparthotel locations in eight cities (Berlin, Bonn, Duesseldorf, Frankfurt/Main, Munich, Nuremberg, Weimar and Vienna).
