Den tatsächlichen Moment in einer Fotografie einzufangen, setzt Vertrauen voraus. Dies gilt in besonderem Maße für die Kinderfotografie. Ich möchte Vertrautheit und Natürlichkeit schaffen, indem ich zu Ihnen nach Hause komme und die Kinder nach einer gemeinsamen Kennenlernphase in ihrer gewohnten Umgebung fotografiere. Dabei versuche ich, Realität zu dokumentieren, ohne die Kinder groß unnatürlich posieren zu lassen. Das Ergebnis soll ein Abdruck der Wirklichkeit sein, eine Konservierung von heimischen Emotionen und Erinnerungen – für Sie als Eltern sowie für die Kinder selbst.



Über mich:

Seit Jahren beschäftige ich mich mit der Kinder- und Familienfotografie. Während meines Studiums der Visuellen Künste lebte ich mehrere Monate bei einer Gastfamilie in England. Die verbildlichten Momente verarbeitete ich in meiner Abschlussarbeit „Family Pictures“. Hier wurde die Idee für meine Art von Kinderfotografie geboren.


Through photographing children and families, I hope to preserve the moments in time, with all the feelings and emotions that accompany them. When it comes to photography, everything begins with a feeling of trust. To create this, I make myself a part of the child’s natural, everyday environment – that is how to capture the truth and natural beauty of the moment, of the everyday. The pictures are not posed, just reality. The result is authenticity – that family, that moment, those moments, those personalities and their relationships – individual, personal.

As long as I can remember, I have been both around children and have found them to be the focal point of my artistic endeavours – from making illustrations for children’s books to concept design for children’s theatre. During my studies in visual arts, I began to realize that I could not only create things for children, but could actually capture their inherent beauty and nuance. I lived for a semester in England, who ended up being the subject of my masters thesis – a photographic documentary of the small aspects of everyday life, called “Family Pictures”.

Born and raised in Italy, I received my undergraduate from the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence, and my masters of visual arts (MVA) from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan. Since October 2011 I have lived and worked in Berlin.
