Nestled in the emerald green Los Nevados mountain range, on the outskirts of historic Salento lies the premier bar, restaurant and hostel in all of Quindio. Rooted in Colombia’s world famous Eje Cafetero Luciernaga offers the ultimate affordable destination for food, drinks, music, lodging and so much more. Our property has 360-degree views of rolling mountains and valleys. In addition to being in close proximity to the breathtaking Valle de Cocora, we offer access to horseback riding, mountain biking, rock climbing and coffee tours at local plantations.

Our Colombian style Hacienda consists of five dormitories and four private rooms. The dorms come complete with exceptionally comfortable bunks, and each bed has it’s own electrical outlet and reading lamp. Our private rooms all have ensuite bathrooms with hot water and incredible secluded views. All guests are afforded breakfast in our on-site restaurant at a discounted price, free Wi-Fi and in house laundry service at a very reasonable rate. Our common area includes an outdoor terrace with plenty of seating perfect for relaxing with a bottle of wine or whiling away the hours lost in conversation and our breathtaking landscape. Our outdoor area, once completed will offer a swimming pool, hot tub and wood fired sauna.

Encased in Glass, our onsite bar/restaurant is like nothing else you will find in Quindio. Organic fruits and vegetables, locally cured meats, aged cheeses and live music are only some of the highlights of our truly eclectic menu. Start your day with eggs benedict, bagels and a champagne cocktail. For lunch have a true Philadelphia style cheesesteak, a mind-blowing BLT or the best flat bread pizza you can find, all prepared on freshly made local bread. Don’t forget to wash it down with one of our many craft beer selections from within Colombia or one of our fine imported brews. Did I mention we have the only draught system in the area? What’s for dinner? I thought you’d never ask. While sitting in front of our large stone fireplace start with mouthwatering beef carpaccio, mini beef sliders and one of our innovative, handcrafted cocktails. For the main course perhaps our world famous veggie burger, roasted chicken or seared filet mignon drizzled with blue cheese sauce accompanied by a glass of wine from a list that features selections from around the world. Finally finish off with a Belgian waffle and ice cream or our homemade chip which and an Irish coffee or millionaires’ cappuccino.
