La Casa de Loto 4.77

La Casa de Loto, in the magical Colombian mountains near Medellin, is a Mindfulness Meditation & Yoga Retreat Center founded by Karma Pema Tsering, a Buddhist Meditation and Hatha Yoga Teacher. Here we apply mindfulness in all daily activities, training to be present: while eating, practicing sitting and walking meditation, yoga, listening in the daily question and answer and discussion groups, or simply enjoying a cup of tea together.

We offer to you a home away from home, and a beautiful, nourishing, simple environment in which to cultivate a peaceful awakened mind. As Pema puts it “You can´t stop the waves of life, but you can learn to surf.” All practitioners are also happily invited to participate practicing Karma Yoga during their stay - whether by helping to prepare meals, cleaning dishes, working in the gardens, or taking care of our animals.

We are open all year round to guests of all race, color, religions and countries who want to embark or deepen on a journey to their inside.
We offer programs of: one week, one month, and three months. Included are all classes, organic food and accommodation. Apart you can book Ayurvedic Massages and Reikis. If you want to stay longer and you integrate well into our Sangha (spiritual assembly), then that´s no problem. If you have no financial freedom, please feel free to apply for our volunteering programs.
