Faunal Nature Reserve 3.93

FAUNAL is a small private nature reserve in the foothills of La Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, in north Colombia. This area is a refuge for different animal and vegetal species, with several trails to walk and watch fauna, feeders to attract birds and the right environment to relax and enjoy nature contact.
FAUNAL is surrounded by forest and all its habitants, We have documented the presence of more than 200 bird species inside the reserve including 3 endemics. It’s common the presence of different amazing birds like beautiful toucans, woodpeckers and lots of tanagers. Also we have reported the presence of several mammals, such as Nine-banded armadillos, arboreal porcupines and howler monkeys. Our intention is to protect all this environmental richness in the best way possible while living and sharing this habitat with them.
